Our Cheder for 2012 is running on Sunday mornings, on the alternate week to our Shabbat services, from February to December, at Gan Gani Kindergarten, 691-695 Fig Tree Pocket Rd, Fig Tree Pocket 4069. Dates are as shown on the Services page. The next Cheder is scheduled for 26 February 2012.  All Cheder classes start at 9.30 am and finish at 11.45.

We are delighted that Gan Gani Kindergarten, Queensland’s only Jewish Kindergarten, has agreed to let us use their purpose-built premises for this important activity. Fig Tree Pocket is quite easy to access off the Western Freeway.

We have a range of experienced teachers ready to work with your children on Hebrew, Jewish religious studies and history, and classes and social activities will help children mix and get to know each other during the Cheder. We are very excited about this new development and look forward to working with your children in a professional learning environment. We are also planning regular educational programs for those children under 6 years of age, and will advise you of those planned activities as they arise.
